The Clarenville Nordic Ski Club was formed in October of 1973 to develop and promote the sport of cross country skiing in the Clarenville area. Since that time the Club has experienced tremendous growth with an active membership consistently above 400 members. Members of Clarenville Nordic can expect; access to in excess of 40 km of groomed trails with 4 warm up huts, Night skiing on Harry's Loop - 3.5 km lit trail, Coaching through our Jr development Program and CNSC Race team, Ski Lessons, Womens' night and regular weekend tours of a varied nature, including the Annual Discovery Tour.

Historically the heart of the Club is in the Touring Program, which is designed to accommodate all skiers and snowshoers in the Club. And although we have diversified in our programs, the Touring Program both for skiers and snowshoers is ingrained in the fabric of who we are. Most tours are scheduled for Sunday afternoon but check our Facebook page for up to date Tour information.
